LIVE: Cardiff City vs. Swansea City – FAW Women’s Cup Final

Cardiff City meet Swansea City this afternoon in the FAW Women’s Cup final at the Cardiff City Stadium. The Swans where losing finalists last time out, whilst Cardiff will be looking to regain the title that they won in the 2015/16 season.

For the first time in its 26-year history, the final of the FAW Women’s Cup final will be held at the home of Cardiff City.

The Bluebirds narrowly edged out Cyncoed Ladies 1-0 in their semi-final, while the Swans comfortably saw off Port Talbot Town Ladies by five goals to one.

Cardiff currently find themselves fourth in the Welsh Premier Women’s League, having won eight of their fourteen games to date.

Swansea are second, five points behind leaders Cardiff Metropolitan University Ladies.
