Barry Town

The Daily Vale have released a documentary following Barry Town United’s success during the 2017/2018 season.

The documentary, which has been named ‘unbelievable Barry Town’ shows Barry Town United’s success during the 2016/2017 season following their promotion to the Welsh Premier League after a 13-year absence.

It also includes highlights from the MG Nathaniel Cup, which saw Barry eventually lose 4-0 to the New Saints, as well as all the preparation that went on prior to the final taking place and shows how much the club is valued by everyone involved within the club.

This documentary gives a fascinating insight into what goes on behind the scenes, and includes interviews with some of the players including Jordan Cotterill and Barry Town United’s joint golden boot winner with 19 goals, Drew Fahiya.

It also shows what it means for the fans of Barry Town United, and how passionate they’re about the club returning to the Welsh Premier League. There is also one gripping interview with the club secretary Dave Cole, which is not be missed as he analyses what this means after going from near extinction to the club obtaining three promotions in four seasons to get back to where they so desperately wanted to be – The Welsh Premier League.
