WPWL Transfer News – Leah Davies signs for Briton Ferry Llansawel Ladies AFC
Briton Ferry Llansawel Ladies have today confirmed the signing of versatile midfielder Leah Davies.
The Ex Pontypridd player was ecstatic to join a club that is focused on playing progressive football, and developing players to their full potential.
Having watched the 25 year old Davies in training with BFL last week, she will have a massive impact on the way the side play, as a confident playmaker with a big tackle, Davies would form an excellent partnership with the talented Lucy Powell.
Davies said “I’ve joined the club because they’re newly promoted, and are looking to develop- it’s a step up to the WPWL, and I’m relishing the challenge”.
Ross Norgrove (BFLL Manager) and Simon Powell (Coach) also expressed delight in the signing, commenting that Davies would add an extra dimension to their talented young side.
